Flowboarding Nationals
Check out the Bamma Slamma Photo Gallery.

The 2009 Bamma Slamma was the last and final stop on this year’s Flow Tour. The Nationals were held at Waterville USA in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Resort Owner Joe Warrington along with many sponsors made this year’s event the largest the sport has seen yet.
Three days of intense competition to determine who scored the most points during the tour, who was most improved, and who would be traveling to the Singapore Open. Well over one hundred riders packed into Waterville USA’s Flowrider to practice and compete in some of the most intense competition the sport has seen all year. Riders from all over the world and from the best water parks in the USA made the trip to take the title in their division and for the $5,000 prize purse.
Tour Champions in the expert divisions would take the ultimate prize of $1000 and an all expense paid trip to Sentosa Singapore for the grand opening of a new Wave House, set to open October 2009. Sean Silveira took his division in Expert Flowboard and the title of Flow Tour Champion. Sean dominated the competition all season long with technical maneuvers that remain unmatched by his competitors. The Expert Bodyboard Tour Champion was Nick Nguyen. Nick’s clean and consistent style paid off in every stop on the tour he attended. Nick surprised spectators, judges and fellow riders when he took 4th in Expert Flowboard, leaving next years competitors on edge.
